A new article on Medical Care integration for those challenged by mental illness. Co-authored by Larry Hochwald it briefly outlines some steps utilized in a new program being developed by the authors to try to improve care and the life expectancy of people facing the challenges of serious mental illness.

Nice article & photo of Larry Hochwald. As a former medical educator I can affirm that the article's recommendations [increased, direct communication between phyisicans and mental health professionals] are worthy of serious consideration.
