Thanks to Stu Held and Sylvia Fishel for a great interview this morning on 88.1 FM Long Island WCWP.org Radio

Today on their "Senior Moments" show, with listeners online throughout the world, we covered a lot of ground, discussing Brooklyn, Stuyvesant High School, Brooklyn College, mental health care advocacy, services for challenged individuals and my new book Not From Around Here! The Kingsman Newspaper called the book "as exciting as it is scary"! And the Seattle Post Intelligencer website review said: "Each story is unique, and in cases just a bit creepy. In some there is a thread of humor that keeps you chuckling as you move to the next. Some contain morals that make you think while others are just on the verge of the impossible, but with just a question mark of 'what if?' Hochwald does a great job of building his protagonists with believable characteristics, as well as making them memorable. Each story has a unique and solid character in which you find the interactions to be stimulating and at times amusing. Then he takes his setting and either makes them dreamlike, or creepy, or just out of this world. Yet his descriptions draw a vivid picture that is often difficult with short stories." Because of the interview, Pallingsboro Press has put the book on sale on Amazon, both ebook and paperback, for the next few days. http://www.amazon.com/Not-Around-Here-Larry-Hochwald-ebook/dp/B00G3HHV2E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1395806987&sr=8-1&keywords=not+from+around+here+larry+hochwald
